Rationale

We conducted an user testing session with a player from our social group. Since he was the only participant we had, he played both the role of the coach and a player. We had paper cutouts of different screens and presented them to him as he presses buttons to complete a task. We asked him to think out loud as he was doing this and to point out anything that did not make sense. The participant alerted us to elements and aspects of our app that we either forgot to include or did not make clear enough. For example, we had “events” nested under “availability” which the participant found confusing. The user testing session provided us with insights that we incorporated into our final prototype.
